After a week at Medina Lake we headed south to South Padre Island near Brownsville, TX. Here we stay until April 9th at Isla Blanca RV Park. The Park is on the southern tip right at the beach. Looking south we can see Space X with their launch towers and assembly buildings across the bay.

02/28/2025 – All good things come to an end. Yesterday we went to Fernland Historical Park in Montgomery, TX. This park displays historic log houses, examples of mid-nineteenth century architecture, lots of artifacts. There is also a very nice Memory Trail next to it with a little pond . 2/22/25 – Just a quick update. “Go South they said. It’s warmer there, they said.” Man, were they wrong… Last week, the weather took us on a ride to the cold side. Nights down to the low 20th, days not much above freezing. The water froze at the campground and did not thaw out for
