After 2 days on the road with stops in Van Horn, TX and Las Cruces, NM we arrived on 4/28 at Valley Vista RV Resort in Benson, AZ. After setting up we explored the Campground. The sites are gravel with FHU (full hookup – Electricity, Water, Sewer).  There is also a small pool, some outdoor

04/25/2024 – After packing up at Falcon State Park we drove to Carrizo Springs and spend one night at Legends RV Park. The Campground was outside of the city and was very quiet at night. The site was level, but the trees were overgrown and we had to be very careful maneuvering through the campground,

4/15/2024 – as of Sunday we are at Falcon State Park. The campground is at the Falcon Lake Reservoir which is shared with Mexico. This morning we went on a 3 mile hike within the boundary of the park. We saw lots of beetles, spiders, rabbits and birds. The flora was not bad either. Campsite

4/12/2024 – We drove to Boca Chica Wildlife Refuge and State Park and stopped at SpaceX and took some pictures. SpaceX has a pretty good sized operation here with a launch pad, Starship build and testing. Unlike NASA operations, SpaceX is located next to the road with views of nearly the complete operation.
