4/9/2025 – Today was moving day and, with a sad heart but also looking forward to a new place we packed up and headed to Falcon State Park. Over the last 4 weeks we had a great time at Isla Blanca RV Park. We went for a morning walk at the beach nearly every day and admired the gorgeous sunrises. Most of the days it was very windy with winds up to 40mph which was nerve wreaking especially during the nights. One night we had a major storm come through which dumped 4-5inches of rain in our area. The campsite section we were in was OK the next morning, but some areas had standing water. On one of the weekends we drove to McAllen and still saw cars in water up to their roofs. That area got really hit by that storm. Below are lots of pictures from our stay, so, enjoy.
