Thursday we decided to visit the Capitol Building of New Mexico in Santa Fe. The building is not your typical Capitol building, no fancy Dome, just a multi level round building. But…. the Art display within the building is magnificent. Over 800 pieces are on display depicting landscapes, Indian art and lifestyle, historic events and sculptures. What a treat. Below is a small sample.
Friday we packed up and headed further north into Colorado. Here we stay at a smaller campground in South Fork for six nights before heading to Gunnison, CO. In the evening we already had some local visitors. Temperatures are around freezing at night and 50th during the day.
