Tuesday we drove to Crystal River and met with Melody and Jay for lunch and a walk at the Crystal River State Park and Archeological Site. At the Archeological Site we did the 1.7 mile loop and visited the Main Mound where we had a great view of the Crystal River and the grounds.
Wednesday was another day of troubleshooting our Propane gas leak. For the last couple of days we could smell some propane on the side were the tank, hoses and pipes are running. I tried to “patch” the leak with threat sealer, but eventually I determent that the leak is due to a hole in one of the pipes which looks pretty rusted. I called a RV tech and he confirmed the leak and he will be back after Christmas to replace the pipe.
Thursday I got some light bulbs to replace the blown one under the steps.
Saturday we met Dorsey and Kyle at Solomon’s Castle in Ona, Fl. Solomon’s Castle is in the middle of nowhere and was build by Howard Solomon mainly of recycled material. We took the tour and got a better insight of Howard’s creativity. He was a man with lots of talent, a vision, drive to implement. He was into woodworking, metal sculptures, stained and edged glass amongst other crafts.
Today, Sunday, we went for a walk in the Campground in-between rain, watched TV, quilted (Maria) and cruised the Internet. Nice relaxing day
