After leaving Leavenworth we drove through the Cascades Mountain Range which is stunning. We went up Stevens Pass and continued west on US 2 until we turned south on WA 203 and WA 202. Tall Chief Campground is located in a wooded area and provides Water and Electric campsites only. We snagged site 155 which was mostly level and separated by trees and bushes from the adjacent sites. Monday we drove to IKEA where Maria found a nice dresser for her craft stuff and to replace the sewing table we had. Tuesday we spent at the campsite doing laundry. Thursday we visited Snoqualmie Falls about 25 minutes from our campground. The fall is about 260ft high and there is a viewing area at the top and one at the bottom. We parked at the top and hiked down to the base and back up. Pretty steep and worth every step. Friday and Saturday it was raining, so we hung out in our home. Sunday is moving day, again…
Until next update,
Maria and Bernhard
