3/18/2024 – Yesterday, we drove from our previous stop, Thousand Trails Colorado River RV Resort, to Thousand Trails Medina Lake RV Resort Northwest of San Antonio. The drive was mostly I-10 and then on some pretty curvy County Roads to our new home for the next 12 nights. After setting up and having a late lunch we did some R & R. This morning we had some visitors outside. About 10-15 deer were grazing across the road from us. After breakfast we walked to the office to pick up some information and explore the area. We have a pool with hot tub, laundry facilities and playground. Also a nice, even though in disrepair house and barn are on the property. Tomorrows weather forecast shows some cooler temperatures and we will drive to San Antonio do the touristy stuff (River walk, Alamo, Missions,….).
