On 7/24 we packed up and moved to Kendall Campground. The campground is located below the Dam near Jamestown, Kentucky. The sites are pretty big with some shade, electricity and water. The campground is well maintained, clean and quiet. What a Gem! On Tuesday we explored the surrounding area and little towns. It is very hilly with lots of farmland with Corn, Soybeans and other wheat. Wednesday we unloaded our bicycles and visited the Fish Hatchery and Visitor Center close by. They show a short video about the Hatchery and have some displays of the Dam, Fish and Wildlife in addition to the outside runways where they have Trouts of different sizes. Very educational. Thursday was Laundry day in the morning and another bicycle ride to the area of the Cumberland River below the dam. Oh, there was some Ice Cream involved also. Friday morning we broke camp and said “Good Bye” to this lovely Campground.
